Herakles Herakles stands in the centre of the frieze, attracting the viewer’s attention. Another suggestion is “Herakles’ Voyage into the Underworld to Rescue Theseus”. “The Gathering of the Argonauts” is another possibility. The story of “The Seven Against Thebes” is one possibility.
